yes, you're still on the same Clownhouse site lol, sometimes a cutesy pink person has a bit of a dark side to them, alright? this page is where you'll find all of my horror movie reviews, opinions, recommendations, and more fun stuff!
where did my love of horror come from? it was pretty much love at first sight since i was a child. not that traumatic childhoods automatically mean that kids grow up to love gore and fucked up movies or anything, but i had it ROUGH as a kid, sadly. i was "allowed" (see: not supervised at all) to watch whatever i wanted, and once i started watching late night movies that were not at all suitable for my age, the rest was history.
i remember as a kid sitting down with friends to watch movies like Child's Play or even Nightmare on Elm Street. before that, i happened to see Eight Legged Freaks playing at a family friend's tv one fine afternoon. from there, my fascination only grew. i was only around 6 years old glued to the tv screen watching Idle Hand, Shaun Of The Dead, Jeepers Creepers, Pet Sematary and more. i became obsessed with horror novels as well, especially horror anthologies!
ever since then, my love only grew more and more. as a teen, i was addicted to reading Creepypastas and getting into ARGs. i watched horror game playthroughs on youtube like my life depended on it, and even wrote some of my own admittedly terrible horror stories myself. life was... not great for little Mars but i persevered-- and so did my love of horror!
nowadays my life is much better, thank goodness. but i still watch horror movies, get into horror shows and have horror stories stacked on my bookshelf that i enjoy every once in a while. it's a deep fascination that just keeps growing everyday, and shows no signs of stopping. as an adult now, i love picking apart movies and watching movie reviews on youtube to check in on what the rest of the horror lovers of the world are saying!
with this page, i'll get to further immerse myself in the world of all things spooky and scary but also share with the rest of you lovely people my thoughts, opinions and feelings on different horror media.
